If one looks at the combat data available, the answer to the question we are
discussing here today becomes obvious. Both Strike and Defensive fleets must
be composed mainly of Capital Ships, with Fighters serving only as escorts
and deep harassment forces. Only Capital Ships have the firepower and range
to do significant damage to an enemy force.
