What software/mediums did you use for this? Don't want to be insulting but it looks like Google Sketch? If it is I need to get smart on that...Love your work. Big Robotech fan here too...check out my stuff and tell me what you think!

Actually it's just Photoshop CS2 These are just very precise drawings :D I couldn't wrap my head around sketchup.

Well your lines look awesome. I do most of my stuff freehand as I am not good with the drawing tools, so my lines suffer. I am envious...

Thanks, but don't fret, I simply used the "line tool" a lot to make sure everything was straight and parallel :D

Hey, this is Irvin Jackson. I did the page 6 splash page and co-wrote the Nightbane Survival Guide.

I got fleets yesterday. Your stuff is amazing. It has a unique look that really was perfect for the Altess, and you're kicking butt on the Robotech books too.

Whoa. They sure are some nicely designed ships there. Love the chrome on the whole thing.

Nice and very tightly designed, Nick. I presume you used several individual layers for the similar parts, to help ease drawing the same pieces twice?

Also, are you planning on doing alternate views for these at any time?

Thanks. I made a palette of some of the minus-mold greebles and the outer shell of the smaller "engine pod" is the same on both ships for continuity's sake. Otherwise everything was done twice. The "heads" are slightly different curves on the two ships, for example. Lots of circle tool here!
