Heh, while it would be most excellent to get a full body of the mech whose head this belongs too, I have to admit that this head is very nicely done, and balanced too... the outer visor grabs my attention the most, as well as the detail to light and shadow. The color scheme is well thought out too... not too far from traditional mecha colors... but at the same time a hint of originality.

Nice. You put a good level of detail into the face without neglecting the rest, that awesome, most ppl make it look like all the detail work went to one place.

that is awesome. how long did it take to do that? did you do it freehand?

Thanks! I sketched it out in pencil, then went over it in pen, then erased the pencial and did all the color and some darkening of lines in PS. It didn't take very long since its pretty sketchy if you look at it -maybe a couple hours overall but I still like it alot
